Homeboys and 'Girls

I spent about eight hours last night scanning, here's a few of the ones I got from the participants.

Favorite Shot: Swimming Upstream

These guys reminded me of salmon swimming upstream as they were trying to "save" everyone in the French Quarter. I found a sort of weird joy in parrying their attempts to save me.

Favorite shot: King cake babies

This is my favorite shot from the project.

Two workers assemble king cakes at Haydel's Bakery in New Orleans, Louisiana by inserting a plastic baby into each cake after it is baked and before the icing and sugar are added. Tradition dictates that the discoverer of the baby in the king cake at a Mardi Gras party is declared king or queen of the party, and must host the next Mardi Gras party.

Pictures of You. In no particular order.

Your Favorite Shot?

What was your single favorite shot from the trip? Post it here.

Welcome to MG 360° blog

Welcome to the Mardi Gras 360° alumni blog. I've out this together so those of us whom survived the inaugural MG360° project to stay in touch, get advice and share photos. Although anyone can view this blog, only invited members can post or comment. I have sent out invites to everyone that I had an email address. If I missed you, email me (mg360degrees at gmail.com) and let me know.
